LONDON - David Beckham has started training with Tottenham Hotspur for the first time. Spurs coach, Harry Redknapp, expressed his hope for a loan agreement for the Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder could not be approved.
Former England captain was smiling and joking with the players Spurs while taking part in a light training session in Essex. Redknapp says Spurs are still hoping for the former Manchester United star could sign a short-term deal before returning to the United States to undergo season American league (MLS) in March.
